I'm not going to go into the details of both theories, but I am going to write what makes me think the way I do. I believe that the theory of Evolution is the best explanation for the diversity of life on Earth.
Reading through the articles that argue for either Evolution or Creationism, I've come to realise one thing. In most articles which present the case for evolution, there are evidences, they might not be perfect, but they are there.
In most instances of Creationism, they seem to only argue about the fact that life is so intricate, how can there not be a guiding hand? Little evidence is give.
Most of those articles supporting creationism seemed to based on proving that the theory of evolution is wrong.
Whereas most of the articles supporting Evolution, they are based on actually giving evidence that supports the theory.
I'll agree that I'm biased, I've had a scientific education and am an agnoistic.

We are back to this again. Not for argument's sake but cos of love...
I do not have evidence supporting creationism nor do I have any against evolution. In fact I am a science student myself and as a chemical major, I agree strongly to cause and effect. But haven't we live life enough to know that not everything is measurable, not everything is sizable, not everything is explainable?
Jesus Christ really existed. He really died on the cross. And if you have watched passion of Christ, Mel Gibson said the real thing would have been worse. How much blood will you shed to live the truth? What is the truth? I am on the journey to find it. I know the existence of Jesus Christ does not state the evidence of creationism. But don't you question if there is no God, no creator will Jesus Christ died on the cross? What is his motive? What is his purpose? Looked at Gandhi. The choices, he made. Will you walk his path? And if I understand correctly, he did it for the love of God and the love of people.
I, like you said cannot produce evidence to support the theory of creationism. Yet I see the evidence of creationism in the birds, in the flowers, in you , in all people... I went to City Harvest for a while. They do good quotations from the bible. One of which is God has great plans for you! And I believe in that. He has great plans for me! Praise the Lord!
Yet I can say, nature is amazing, look at how it has resulted in all these wonderful and diverse lifeforms.
I can accept the explanation of the diversity of life through Natural Selection. Without the need to invoke a Creator.
As for Jesus, let's just say I do not believe in a God that is so benevolent.
